Job Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of coal, bauxite, alumina, and aluminum markets.
- Analyze supply and demand dynamics and their potential market implications.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and forecasts by evaluating historical data and trends to predict future price movements.
- Formulate strategies to mitigate market risk based on pricing model forecasts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience, preferably from Financial Advisory or Consulting firm.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in interpreting market trends and financial data.
- Strong communication skills for creating reports and presentations.
- CFA Candidate or certification in commodities trading is a strong advantage.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong understanding of global and local economic trends impacting commodity markets.
