
• Conduct routine and specialized chemical analyses on raw materials, process samples, and final products to ensure quality control.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments (e.g., ICP, XRF, spectrophotometer), adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Accurately document, interpret, and report results, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality or process issues.
• Uphold safety protocols and environmental standards, using proper PPE and safe work practices.
• Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to laboratory practices and procedures.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Proven laboratory experience (1–3 years) in a smelting, mining, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of analytical techniques such as ICP, XRF, spectrophotometry, and wet chemistry methods.
• Working knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is an advantage.
• Good understanding of relevant ISO, ASTM, or similar quality standards.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
