Job Responsibilities
- Assist to develop, review and implementation of OSH management plans, procedures, and instructions.
- Conduct on HSSE monitoring, intervention, reporting and follow up actions.
- Provide support for regular engagement with authorities for on-site OSH compliance and to advise contractor HSSE personnel on submission of relevant reports to relevant authorities.
- Communicate and assist resolve conflict on different OSH standards or requirements involving foreign contractor/subcontractor’s practices and Malaysian’s Standards.
- Assist to develop and implement solutions with regard to OSH site contractual/regulatory compliance requirement.
- Ensure contractors and other stakeholders comply to the OSH requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Public Health, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in safety management, with a focus on hydropower projects or construction sites.
- In-depth understanding of local and international safety regulations, standards, and codes relevant to construction and hydropower projects.
- Good ability to assess OSH risks and recommend control measures.
- Strong communication skills to convey safety requirements and guidelines to project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Willing to be located in Malinau, North Kalimantan (Roster based)
